Sarah Cardona – committee member

As a new committee member Sarah has been given the title of Environmental   Coordinator as the link person with HEAL, Health and Environment  Alliance.

HEAL informs Sarah of the latest news, information  and events regarding environmental issues, and then she passes this information on to other committee members, government departments and other NGOs concerned with the environment.

A trained manicurist/pedicurist,  Sarah’s interested in ‘natural’ cosmetics and skincare, and together with her husband, she has decided to import some well researched products from the UK and the USA and has started an online business.

Sarah’s daughter always suffered reactions to every product she used, and this sparked her interest in ingredients and chemicals.

Now researching more environmentally friendly products to add to her business, Sarah has learnt about the many chemicals in products encountered in everyday life, and, through research, the connection is becoming more apparent between such chemicals, and associated health problems, including breast cancer.
